2017 World Congress of Sociology of Sport Taiwan

From May 30 – June 2, 2017, the International Sociology of Sport Association (ISSA) will hold its World Congress in Taoyuan, Taiwan at the National Taiwan Sport University (NTSU). The local Organizing Committee – Taiwan Society of Sport Sociology (TSSS) and NTSU – is honoured to organize this event with the theme “Reimagining Democracies and Sport” and ICS will provide Registration and Abstract Services along with website development.

The main goal of the conference is to gather the international community of sociologists of sport to discuss the key issues and debates surrounding the role and place of sport in a global society. The congress will allow common interests linked to this theme to emerge, provide networking opportunities to develop collaborative research projects, and extend international scientific knowledge in human and social sciences.
