What makes event management the most appealing to me is the final result. Seeing that customers are satisfied indicates that the event was successful whereas receiving feedback helps to learn from it for the future.

As I am a very open-minded person, I like to be in contact with others, no matter what cultural background they have. My curiosity for new cultures and countries guided me to study Tourism Management at Stenden University of Applied Sciences. This international university gave me the chance to complete my minors at the university’s branches in Qatar and South Africa. Following my passion, I decided to specialize in event management.

Furthermore, I am always seeking new challenges and responsibilities to help me to grow. My new position as the Marketing intern at ICS will provide me with the best opportunity to gain professional experience in conference management as well as to lay the foundation for my future career.

I am thankful for this opportunity and look very much forward to being a part of ICS’ great team.

In my free time, you will most likely find me surrounded by friends – either traveling, cooking, somewhere in the nature or doing any type of water sport.

Remember that happiness is a way of travel, not a destination.
